AEEE Registration Extension and Application Process

According to the update from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, eligible candidates can now complete their online registration until January 21, 2026. The application is fully online, and candidates are required to register using a valid email ID and mobile number for all future communications.
Key steps for registration include:

- Click on the registration tab and enter basic details such as name, mobile number, email, state, and city
- Fill the complete application form
- Upload required documents, including photographs and signatures
- Pay the registration fee online
- Submit the form and save the confirmation page
The registration fee is INR 1300 for AEEE only or AEEE plus JEE Main consideration, and INR 500 for JEE Main percentile only. For candidates opting to appear abroad, the fee is USD 85 or equivalent INR 7500. Fees are non-refundable except in cases of excess payment due to technical issues.
AEEE Slot Booking, Admit Card, and Exam Schedule
The conducting authority has clarified that there is no delay in slot booking, which began on January 16, 2026, and continues until January 23, 2026. Admit cards will be issued on January 25, 2026.
Phase 1 examinations are scheduled from January 29 to February 1, 2026 (with some references indicating January 30 to February 1), conducted in multiple slots per day:
- Slot 1: 9:30 AM – 12:00 Noon
- Slot 2: 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM
The exam is held in CBT mode across 109 cities in India and select international locations, including Dubai. The test duration is 150 minutes, comprising 100 questions: Mathematics (40), Physics (25), Chemistry (20), English (5), and Quantitative Aptitude (10).
Admission Options and Phases
AEEE 2026 is conducted in two phases, with Phase 2 tentatively set for April 25 to April 30, 2026. Candidates can also apply using JEE Main 2026 percentile scores, with seat allocation considering both AEEE and JEE Main (guideline: 70% AEEE, 30% JEE Main, subject to final allotment). Admissions are offered for B.Tech programmes at Amrita campuses.
