Bihar Board Releases Provisional Answer Key for Class 12 Intermediate Exam 2026

The Bihar School Examination Board has published the provisional answer key for the Class 12 Intermediate Exam 2026. Students may review answers and submit objections online before March 6, 2026. Final results are expected after the objection review and evaluation process concludes.

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the provisional answer key for objective-type questions of the Class 12 Intermediate Annual Examination 2026. Students who appeared for the exams can now review responses and raise objections online until March 6, 2026, at 5 PM.

The Intermediate examinations were conducted from February 2 to February 13, 2026, with approximately 13.18 lakh students appearing across 1,762 examination centres in Bihar. Objective questions constituted 50% of the total marks, evaluated through an OMR-based system.

Provisional Answer Key Released for All Subjects

According to the official notification, the provisional answer key has been prepared by subject experts and includes:

• Question IDs

• Corresponding correct option IDs

• Objective-type questions for all streams and subjects

The answer key enables candidates to compare responses, estimate tentative scores, and identify potential discrepancies before final evaluation.

Students can download the answer key from the official BSEB portals.

How to Raise Objections Against the Answer Key

Candidates who find discrepancies in the provisional answer key may submit objections through the online portal by following these steps:

1. Visit biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in or objection.biharboardonline.com

2. Click on “Register Objection Regarding Answer Key Inter Exam 2026”

3. Select Higher Secondary (Inter) examination category

4. Enter roll code and roll number

5. Submit subject-wise objections before the deadline

The board has clarified that only online submissions received before March 6, 2026 (5 PM) will be considered. Objections sent through offline or alternative modes will not be accepted.

Evaluation Process After Objection Window

All objections will be reviewed by panels of subject experts appointed by BSEB. If any answer is found incorrect:

• Necessary corrections will be made

• A revised or final answer key may be issued

Meanwhile, evaluation of answer sheets has already begun across designated centres following the conclusion of examinations.
