The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to announce the CTET February 2026 Results very soon. The official CTET final answer key will also be released along with the results on the website ctet.nic.in. As per the latest live updates, the board has completed the evaluation process after considering all objections raised on the provisional answer key.

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2026 was conducted on February 7 and 8, 2026. An additional exam was held on March 1, 2026, at two centres in Bihar (Vaishali and Hajipur). In these centres, the original exam scheduled was cancelled due to unavoidable reasons.

Once released, candidates will be able to download both the final answer key. And the result scorecard using their Application Number and Date of Birth.

How to Check CTET February 2026 Result & Final Answer Key?

  1. Visit the official website: ctet.nic.in
  2. Click on the link “CTET February 2026 Result” or “Final Answer Key”
  3. Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth
  4. Submit the details
  5. Your scorecard and final answer key PDF will appear on the screen
  6. Download and take a printout for future reference

Pro Tip: Results will also be available through DigiLocker. CBSE has already created accounts for all candidates and sent login credentials to their registered mobile numbers. Mark sheets and eligibility certificates will be digitally signed with an encrypted QR code for easy verification.

Key Highlights of CTET 2026

  • The CTET qualifying certificate is valid for a lifetime (no expiry for any category).
  • There is no restriction on the number of attempts; candidates can reappear to improve their score.
  • Minimum qualifying marks: 60% (relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC and differently-abled candidates as per the reservation policy).
  • Scores will be accepted by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), Central Tibetan Schools, and schools under UT administrations (Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep, Delhi).
  • Private unaided schools that choose to consider CTET scores can also use them for teacher recruitment.
  • Bihar School Examination Board has announced it will adopt CTET for teacher recruitment from now onwards (replacing BTET).

Digital Certificates via DigiLocker

CBSE will issue mark sheets and eligibility certificates in digital format only:

  • Documents are legally valid under the IT Act.
  • Encrypted QR code for instant verification through the DigiLocker mobile app.
  • No physical certificates will be sent by post.

What to Do After the Result Declaration?

  • Qualified candidates can immediately apply for teaching posts in central government schools.
  • Keep your scorecard and eligibility certificate ready for document verification during recruitment.
  • Unqualified candidates can appear in the next CTET session (July or December 2026) to improve their score.
