Maharashtra CET Cell Extends MH CET Law 2026 Registration Deadline for 5-Year LLB

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has extended the registration deadline for MH CET Law 2026 (5-Year LLB) to March 15, 2026. The entrance exam will be conducted in computer-based mode on May 8, 2026. Eligible candidates must complete their application through the official portal.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra (CET Cell) has again extended the registration deadline for the MH CET Law 2026 5-Year Integrated LLB programme. Eligible candidates can now apply online until March 15, 2026, offering extra time for submissions ahead of the entrance exam scheduled on May 8, 2026.

Eligibility & Important Requirements

To register for MH CET Law 2026 – 5-Year LLB:

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised education board.

  • Minimum marks required:

    • 45% for general (open) category

    • 40% for SC/ST

    • 42% for VJNT, SBC, OBC, and EWS categories.

  • A mandatory APAAR ID — created via DigiLocker — must be provided during registration.

  • Application fees are:

    • ₹1000 for open, EWS, and OMS candidates

    • ₹800 for reserved categories.

How to Apply?

Candidates must complete the application only through the official portal at cetcell.mahacet.org by:

  1. Visiting the MH CET Law 2026 5-Year LLB registration link.

  2. Completing the registration with personal and academic details, including the APAAR ID.

  3. Filling out the application form and uploading required documents (e.g., photograph).

  4. Paying the fees online.

  5. Submitting the form and downloading the confirmation page for future reference.

The CET Cell also recommends that candidates regularly check the website for updates on admit cards, exam instructions, and schedules.

Scope of MH CET Law 2026

MH CET Law 2026 is a centralised entrance test for admissions into five-year integrated LLB programmes at government, aided, and private law colleges in Maharashtra. The computer-based test evaluates candidates on:

  • Legal aptitude

  • General knowledge and current affairs

  • Logical reasoning

  • English language skills

Separate Timelines for 3-Year LLB

While the 5-year LLB programme deadline is now March 15, 2026, the 3-year LLB programme follows its own schedule (with its last date previously extended to February 28, 2026).
