The State CET Cell, Maharashtra, is set to close the MH CET Law 2026 registration process soon for admission to 3-year LLB and 5-year integrated LLB courses offered by law colleges across Maharashtra for the 2026-27 academic session. Candidates must complete their applications through the official portal cetcell.mahacet.org before the respective deadlines.

MH CET Law 2026 Registration Dates and Deadlines

The application process began in early January 2026 and was extended to allow more candidates to apply. The final dates are:

  • 3-Year LLB Registration: January 8 to February 13, 2026

  • 5-Year LLB Registration: January 9 to February 14, 2026

Further extensions have not been officially confirmed, so applicants should complete registration within the current timeline.

MH CET Law 2026 Exam Dates and Purpose

MH CET Law is a state-level entrance test conducted for admission to undergraduate law programmes across Maharashtra. The exam evaluates legal aptitude, logical reasoning, English, and general knowledge.

  • 3-Year LLB Exam: April 1–2, 2026

  • 5-Year LLB Exam: May 8, 2026

Admit cards are expected approximately in March–April 2026, depending on the course cycle.

How to Apply for MH CET Law 2026

Candidates must submit applications online through the CET Cell portal:

  1. Visit cetcell.mahacet.org

  2. Select the relevant MH CET Law 2026 registration link

  3. Complete new registration and enter required details

  4. Upload documents and pay the application fee

  5. Submit and download the confirmation page

Typical application fees remain around ₹1000 for General/EWS and ₹800 for reserved categories, subject to official notification.

Next Steps After Registration

After the registration closes:

  • Admit cards will be issued online

  • Candidates will appear for the CBT exam

  • Results will be declared followed by counselling and seat allotment
