The NEET UG correction window will be available from March 12, 12:00 PM to March 14, 11.30 PM IST.
The National Testing Agency has opened NEET UG application correction today for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2026 applications. Candidates can modify specific details in the already submitted form. The NEET UG entrance will be conducted on May 3, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm IST. The exam will be conducted in the offline mode at examination centres in India and abroad.

Correction Window Open for a Short Window
According to the NTA’s notification, the NEET UG correction window will be available from March 12, 12:00 PM to March 14, 11.30 PM. Candidates will be able to access their registration form during this window and change selected fields if they are incorrectly filled.
This is, however, a one-time opportunity, and no further changes will be permitted under any condition. So, we advise candidates to have a look at their submitted application and rectify it in this period if any.
Fields That Can be Changed in the Correction Window
The following are the details that can be changed/modified during the correction window:
- Candidate’s Name
- Father’s Name OR Mother’s Name
- Educational Details like Class X and Class XII details, passing year, percentage, board of examination, city/state of passing, etc.
- Occupation
- Category and sub-category
- Permanent and present address
- Other registration fields except AADHAR details
Rules Regarding Fees and Support InformationÂ
The NTA has clarified that any corrections will only become effective after additional fee payment if the changes affect the already charged fee.
Some correction fields may lead to a higher fee; the candidate will then be required to submit the additional amount accordingly. Moreover, this additional fee payment will be non-refundable. Once the application form is submitted, no further changes can be made.
