The Punjab Police Constable recruitment 2026 is currently open for 3,298 vacancies under the District and Armed Police cadres. Out of the total posts in the recruitment, 2,522 posts are for the District cadre, of which 825 posts are reserved for women. There are 776 posts in the Armed Police cadre, of which 259 posts are reserved for women.

- Go to the recruitment section
- Click on “New Register”
- Enter the required details and submit to complete your initial registration.
- After completing this, log in with your registration number and password created.
- Fill in the details and select your preferred cadre
- Apply for the respective cadre-wise posts
- Once the details are filled, complete the fee payment and successfully complete your application form.
The application fee is Rs 550 for all candidates except for some categories. The ex-servicemen category application fee is Rs 500.

Candidates who are willing to apply for the Punjab Police Constable recruitment must be between 18 and 28 years old. Age relaxation applies for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backwards Classes (OBC) and Ex-serviceman, as per government reservation policy.
The minimum educational qualification for this vacancy is Class 12 pass from a recognised board. Another essential qualification is having Punjabi as a subject at the matriculation level. Also, for Ex-servicemen, the minimum educational qualification is Class 10.
