The UP Board Class 12 examinations 2026 have commenced on February 18, 2026, with the first paper in General Hindi and Hindi. Over 24 lakh students are registered for the Intermediate (Class 12) exams, conducted offline at designated centres across Uttar Pradesh. The timetable, released by UPMSP on November 5, 2025, and confirmed on upmsp.edu.in, covers exams until March 12, 2026.
UP Board Class 12 Exam Schedule and Shift Timings
The UP Board Class 12 exams are held in two shifts daily:

The schedule includes core, vocational, and language subjects, starting with Hindi and continuing through Civics, English, History, Biology, Mathematics, Economics, Chemistry, Sociology, Geography, Physics, and Sanskrit. Vocational subjects are mainly scheduled in morning shifts.

Admit cards for the UP Board Class 12 2026 theory exams were released on February 12, 2026, and are mandatory for entry. Practical exams were conducted in two phases:

Exam Day Guidelines for UP Board Class 12 Candidates

Scope and Passing Criteria
The UP Board Class 12 examinations 2026 apply to regular, private, and other eligible candidates. A minimum of 33% in each subject is required to pass. Students who do not qualify can appear for compartment or improvement exams scheduled in July/August 2026. Result declaration is tentatively expected in April 2026 on upresults.nic.in.
