National Law University (NLU) Delhi is all set to launch the online application process for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2027 on August 7, 2026. Prospective law candidates seeking admission into NLU Delhi’s five-year B.A. LL.B. The offline entrance exam will take place on December 13, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in designated test centers across India. Unlike all other National Law Universities across India that admit students through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), NLU Delhi operates independently and conducts AILET as its exclusive entrance test.

AILET 2027 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the educational requirements established by NLU Delhi for their respective law programs:

Note: Students currently appearing in their final year of Class 12 or LL.B. degree examinations in 2027 are also eligible to apply tentatively, provided they produce proof of meeting the required qualification at the time of admission counselling.

Documents Required for AILET 2027 Application Form

To ensure a smooth registration process, applicants should keep scanned copies of the following documents ready prior to filling out the online form:

  • Passport-sized Photograph: Clear recent photograph with a white background (Format: .jpg/.jpeg, size under 1 MB).

  • Scanned Signature: Signature on plain white paper using black or blue pen (Format: .jpg/.jpeg, size under 1 MB).

  • Academic Certificates: Class 10 mark sheet & certificate, Class 12 mark sheet (or admit card if appearing), and Graduation mark sheets (for LL.M. candidates).

  • Category Certificate: Valid SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), or EWS certificate issued by a competent authority, if claiming reservation benefits.

  • Disability Certificate: Official PwD medical certificate (if applicable).

  • BPL Certificate: Valid Below Poverty Line certificate issued by appropriate authorities (for fee concession/waiver).

  • Valid Photo ID & Contact Details: Active personal email address, valid mobile number, and government-issued ID (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID).

  2. Create Candidate Account: Click on “Register to Apply Now”, fill in your full name, email ID, mobile number, date of birth, and generate a password.

  3. OTP Verification: Confirm registration using the OTP code sent to your registered mobile number and email address.

  4. Select Course & Fill Details: Log in with your new credentials, choose your intended course (B.A. LL.B., LL.M., or Ph.D.), and complete your personal, academic, and communication details.

  5. Select Exam Cities: Choose three preferred test city centers from the list of exam locations.
