KCET 2026 Round 2 Provisional Allotment Released at keaonline.karnataka.gov.in; Raise Objections by 4 PM Today
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has officially published the KCET 2026 Round 2 Provisional Seat Allotment results. Candidates participating in the ongoing Karnataka Undergraduate Common Entrance Test (UGCET) counseling process can now log in to the official portals—keaonline.karnataka.gov.in, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in, or kea.kar.nic.in—to check their tentative course and college allocations using their Karnataka CET number and date of birth.
This provisional release serves as a preview window for candidates to review their seat allocation status against their merit position and submitted choices. The examination body has opened a tight objection window today, August 24, 2026, which will close strictly at 4:00 PM.
Crucial Action Required: The 4 PM Objection Deadline
The provisional allotment status allows candidates to check whether their choices align with their merit rank. However, KEA has emphasized that this list is purely provisional and subject to updates post-verification.
If candidates spot any discrepancies or technical mismatches, they must raise a formal grievance before the deadline.
How to Submit Objections to KEA?
-
Email Address: Send grievances directly via email to
keauthority-ka@nic.in. -
Deadline: 4:00 PM today, August 24, 2026.
-
Requirements: Candidates must state their Karnataka CET number, clear reasoning, and attach supporting proof (such as option entry printouts or rank cutoff data).
Important Rule from KEA: Objections will only be evaluated for errors like missing out on a seat despite exceeding the cutoff rank for an entered choice. KEA will not process complaints if a candidate failed to enter the option in their preference list, nor will candidates be allowed to modify, add, or delete choices at this stage.
