Symbiosis International (Deemed University) today announced the examination dates for the SNAP Computer Based Test (CBT) 2026. The entrance examination, essential for admission to MBA programs offered by its affiliated institutes, will be conducted in three sessions on December 13, 2026, December 19, 2026, and December 26, 2026.

SNAP 2026 Examination Schedule and Registration

The SNAP 2026 examination will be administered in three distinct sessions. The first session, SNAP 01 CBT, is scheduled for Sunday, December 13, 2026. The second session, SNAP 02 CBT, will take place on Saturday, December 19, 2026, followed by the third session, SNAP 03 CBT, on Saturday, December 26, 2026.

Candidates can begin their registration for SNAP 2026 starting August 21, 2026. The deadline for both registration and payment is Wednesday, November 25, 2026. Admit cards for SNAP 01 will be available from December 07, 2026, for SNAP 02 from December 11, 2026, and for SNAP 03 from December 18, 2026. The results for SNAP 2026 are slated for announcement on Tuesday, January 12, 2027.

Changes in Exam Pattern and Fees for SNAP 2026

For SNAP 2026, a notable change has been introduced in the exam pattern with the addition of a new section titled ‘Ethics, Morality and Values’. This new section will comprise 10 questions, contributing to the total of 60 objective questions in the exam, which carry a total of 60 marks. Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark, while an incorrect answer will incur a 25% negative marking, equivalent to -0.25 marks.

The overall test duration remains 60 minutes, with no sectional time limits imposed. Candidates are permitted to appear for a maximum of three SNAP 2026 tests, and the highest score among these attempts will be considered for the final percentile calculation. The SNAP test registration fee has been increased to ₹2,550 per test for SNAP 2026, up from ₹2,250 in SNAP 2025. However, the programme registration fee remains constant at ₹1,000 per MBA program.

Eligibility Criteria and Test Centres

To be eligible for SNAP 2026, candidates must hold a graduation degree from a recognised University with a minimum of 50% marks. A relaxation is provided for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates, who require a minimum of 45% marks. The SNAP exam is conducted exclusively in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.

The examination will be conducted across 79 test city centres nationwide. These centres are spread across various states, ensuring accessibility for candidates from different regions.
