The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) today, October 8, 2026, released the admit cards for the PFRDA Grade A Phase 1 examination. Candidates appearing for the recruitment drive can download their hall tickets from the official PFRDA website, pfrda.org.in, by using their login credentials.

The Phase 1 examination is scheduled to be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode on October 15, 2026. This recruitment drive aims to fill approximately 30 Group A officer posts across different streams, including General, Research, Actuary, and Official Language (Rajbhasha).

Downloading the PFRDA Grade a Phase 1 Admit Card

Candidates can access their admit cards through the ‘Careers’ section of the official PFRDA website. The download link will remain active until October 15, 2026, the day of the examination. To download the admit card, candidates will need their registration number, password, and the security captcha.

Upon downloading, candidates are advised to carefully check all details on the admit card, including their name, examination date, examination time, and examination center. Any discrepancies found should be reported to PFRDA immediately for rectification.

Examination Schedule and Selection Process

The PFRDA Grade A recruitment process involves multiple stages, with the Phase 1 Prelims exam being the initial written examination. Following this, the Phase 2 Mains exam is scheduled for November 20, 2026 (Friday). The final stage of the selection process is an interview.

The overall selection process for the PFRDA Grade A 2026 posts includes an online examination and an interview. The Online Test-I carries 85% weightage, while the interview accounts for 15% of the final selection. The Online Test-I consists of two papers, each for 100 marks, totaling 200 marks. The Online Test-II is an intermediate stage, also comprising two papers for a total of 200 marks. The interview can be conducted in either Hindi or English, and final selection is based on combined performance across all three stages.

Documents Required for the Examination

On the day of the examination, candidates must carry a valid copy of their admit card along with required documents to the examination center. This includes a recent passport-size photograph and an original plus a photocopy of a valid photo ID proof. Accepted photo ID proofs include PAN Card, Passport, Driving Licence, Voter ID, Aadhaar Card/E-Aadhaar with photo, Bank Passbook with photo, Employee ID, College/University ID, ID issued by a Gazetted Officer or People’s Representative, or Bar Council ID.

Candidates claiming reservation benefits must carry their respective certificates in the prescribed format, dated before the application closing date. Those employed in Government, Quasi-Government organisations, Public Sector Banks, or PSUs are required to carry a No Objection Certificate (NOC). Female candidates who have changed their name after marriage must carry original documents supporting the name change along with a valid photo ID if there is a mismatch.

Eligibility and Post Details

To be eligible for the PFRDA Grade A posts, candidates must not have exceeded the age of 30 years as on July 31, 2026, meaning they must have been born on or after August 1, 1996. Age relaxations apply for reserved categories, with 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, 10 years for PwBD candidates, 13 years for PwBD (OBC) candidates, and 15 years for PwBD (SC/ST) candidates.

The recruitment drive aims to fill 30 Group A officer posts across various streams.
