UP, TN, Maharashtra, MP, Karnataka board exam dates 2027 out; CBSE, AP schedules awaited

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP), Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Maharashtra State Board, Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE), and Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) have announced their Class 10th and 12th board examination timetables for 2027. These announcements, made in October 2026, provide students in these states with the schedule for their upcoming examinations.

As of October 22, 2026, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) are yet to officially release their respective date sheets for the 2027 board examinations. The CBSE has, however, published its 2026-27 curriculum and sample question papers for Classes 10 and 12, indicating that the first mandatory Class 10 board examination is planned for February-March 2027, continuing its two-board-examination policy.

Uttar Pradesh Board Exam Schedule 2027

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has released the UP Board timetable for both Class 10 and Class 12 examinations for 2027. The examinations are scheduled to commence on February 5, 2027, and conclude on February 24, 2027. All examinations will be conducted in two shifts: a morning shift from 8:30 am to 11:45 am and an evening shift from 2 pm to 5:15 pm.

The detailed subject-wise schedule for Class 10 and Class 12 has been provided by the UPMSP. For Class 10, subjects like Hindi, Social Science, English, and Mathematics are spread across the examination period. Similarly, Class 12 examinations cover a range of subjects including Hindi, Civics, English, Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics.

Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, MP, and Karnataka Exam Dates

The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) announced the TN 10th and 12th public exam dates for 2027 today, October 22, 2026, at 12:30 pm. The TN 10th public exams are scheduled from March 17 to April 12, 2027, while the TN 12th public exams will be held from March 3 to March 29, 2027. The DGE will also announce the Class 11 public examination schedule.

In Maharashtra, the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exams are slated from February 8 to March 16, 2027. The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams will follow, scheduled from February 15 to March 11, 2027. The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has published its timetable for 2027, with Class 10 and 12 theory papers scheduled from February 24, 2027, to March 18, 2027. Specifically, MPBSE 12th exam theory papers are from February 17, 2027, to March 19, 2027. The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) has scheduled its SSLC Exam 1 from March 22 to April 5, 2027, and SSLC Exam 2 from May 24 to May 31, 2027.

CBSE and Andhra Pradesh Board Exam Status

As of September 26, 2026, the CBSE Date Sheet 2027 for Classes 10 and 12 has not been officially released. However, the CBSE 2026-27 List of Candidates (LOC) process is underway, covering the main examinations for Classes 10 and 12 to be held in 2027. The board has confirmed its policy of two board examinations for Class 10, with the first examination being mandatory and planned for February-March 2027, and a second examination available for improvement and compartment candidates. For the 2026 board examinations, the tentative date sheet was released on September 24, 2025, and the final timetable on October 30, 2025.

The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP), is yet to announce its 2027 timetable for both Class 10 and 12. For context, the AP Intermediate 2nd year exam for 2026 was held from February 24 to March 23, 2026, and the AP SSC Exam for 2026 was held from March 16, 2026, to April 1, 2026. The AP Time Table 2026 for both classes was released on November 21, 2025. Students are advised to regularly check the official websites of their respective education boards for the latest announcements and to download the detailed timetables for future reference.
