Bihar Admit Card Blunder

Bihar Admit Card Blunder: Dog Replaces Candidate’s Photo Ahead of March 15 Recruitment Exam

A Bihar job applicant was shocked to find a dog’s photo printed on his recruitment exam admit card instead of his own. The unusual error surfaced ahead of the March 15 exam, sparking reactions online and raising questions about the verification process in recruitment systems.

In a bizarre case from Bihar, a job applicant was shocked to find a dog’s photograph printed on his exam admit card instead of his own. The incident surfaced just days before a Bihar recruitment exam scheduled for March 15, raising questions about the digital application and admit card generation process.

Rakesh Kumar, from Rohtas district, had applied for a district court peon recruitment exam years ago. When admit cards were released, he downloaded his Bihar Civil Court exam admit card and found that instead of his photo, the space for the photograph had a Golden Retriever.

Candidate Shocked by Admit Card Error

Kumar had applied for the 2022 recruitment process for the post of fourth-grade (peon) at the District and Sessions Court. After waiting nearly four years for the exam to be conducted, he was shocked to discover the error on his admit card.

Although his name, roll number and other personal information was rightly printed, the photograph printed on the admit card was of a dog. The candidate said he had uploaded the correct photograph while submitting his application and also has the receipt confirming the upload.

The exam is scheduled to be conducted on March 15, 2026, and the candidate is concerned if the error will be rectified in time for him to appear for the test.

Admit Card Goes Viral on Social Media

Soon after the issue came to light, the admit card showing the dog’s photograph began circulating widely on social media. While many people expressed their amusement and humor, some questioned the legitimacy of the recruitment system and the process of digital verification.

The odd scenario has sparked debates about the need to verify details on government job exam admit cards, especially in cases of large scale recruitment where thousands of candidates apply.

Candidate Seeks Immediate Correction

The applicant said he had earlier approached the authorities to request a correction before the Bihar court recruitment test is conducted. The applicant adds further that he had been making visits to the offices, filing complaints and making repeated visits to the concerned offices to ensure the correction is made in time.

The case has also raised questions regarding administrative incompetence and technical glitches while filling applications on e-sites for government recruitment exams.

Concerns Over Recruitment System

Observers say the Bihar admit card debacle underscores the need for better verification in recruitment process. In view of such unexpected errors in official documents like hall tickets and admit cards, experts believe that there should be a need to upgrade the verification process through both manual and automation system.

With the recruitment exam scheduled for March 15, the candidate hopes authorities will resolve the issue quickly so he can appear for the test.
