Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (GGV), formerly known as Guru Ghasidas University (GGU), is a Central University of India located in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. Established on June 16, 1983, and upgraded to Central University status on January 15, 2009 under the Central Universities Act 2009, the university is named after the great Satnami Saint Guru Ghasidas who championed the cause of social justice.
