The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 admit cards for candidates appearing in the remaining examination shifts scheduled on January 28 and January 29, 2026. Registered students can now download their hall tickets from the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in using their login credentials.
These admit cards are mandatory for entry into the exam centres and include essential details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, photograph, exam date, shift, reporting time, and allotted exam centre information.
Exam Schedule for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 – January 28 & 29
As per the official JEE Main 2026 schedule, the examinations over the two days will be conducted as follows:

January 28, 2026 – Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) in two shifts:
Morning Shift: 09:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
Afternoon Shift: 03:00 PM to 06:00 PM -
January 29, 2026 – Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech), Paper 2A (B.Arch), and Paper 2B (B.Planning) with timings according to respective paper schedules.
Candidates must verify the exact shift timing printed on their admit card, as it will differ based on the paper opted and the session allotted by NTA.
How to Download Your JEE Main 2026 Admit Card

To download the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 admit card, candidates should follow these steps:

Visit the official JEE Main portal at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Click the link for “Download JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Admit Card”.

Enter your application number and date of birth (or password).

Submit the captcha/security pin.

View the hall ticket on screen, and download the PDF.

Print multiple copies of the admit card for exam day and future reference.
The admit card will display important candidate information including exam date, shift, venue address, and specific instructions provided by NTA.

Mandatory Documents to Carry on Exam Day
Candidates appearing in JEE Main 2026 January Session must carry:

A printed copy of the downloaded admit card.

A valid original photo ID proof (as uploaded during registration), such as Aadhaar card, passport, voter ID, or driving licence.

Passport-size photographs (same as on the application form) if required by the exam centre.
No candidate will be permitted inside the examination hall without the admit card and valid ID proof.
Exam-Day Guidelines Issued by NTA
