The engineering entrance exam’s Session 1 was held in January 2026, and the results are expected to be announced by February 12, 2026, on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Steps to view JEE Main Final Answer Key and Result
Go to the official JEE Main website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Navigate to the “Latest News” or “Answer Key / Result” section on the homepage.
Select the link for “Final Answer Key – JEE Main 2026 Session 1” or “Scorecard” once published.
Download the final answer key PDF directly or log in to view the result when declared.
The NTA has confirmed that the result will reflect normalised percentile scores for each subject and the aggregate, following the multi-shift normalisation process. The authority has not announced further details yet on the precise timing of the final answer key release or the total number of objections received.

JEE Main 2026 Session 1 scores will determine eligibility for JEE Advanced 2026 (for IIT admissions) and serve as the basis for JoSAA counselling for NITs, IIITs, and other Government-Funded Technical Institutes. The All India Rank and category-wise qualifying cut-offs for JEE Advanced will be released only after Session 2 concludes in April 2026.
