Originally, the JEE Main Session 2 registrations happened between February 1, 2026, and February 25, 2026.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the application form for the JEE Main Session 2. This decision has been taken after receiving multiple requests from the candidates on various platforms and on their helplines. The NTA has announced that the JEE Main Session 2 registration reopening window will be active between March 12, 12:00 pm, and March 13, 9:00 pm. However, the candidates can complete their fee payment till 11:50 pm on March 13.

Originally, the JEE Main Session 2 registrations happened between February 1, 2026, and February 25, 2026. Also, the correction window was opened between February 27 and February 28, in which registered candidates could edit specific fields in their application form.

JEE Main Session 2 Registrations: Steps to Apply

Candidates can follow the steps below to complete JEE Main 2 registrations:

Go to the official NTA JEE main website, jeemain.nta.nic.in
On the homepage, in the latest notification section, you will find “JEE Main Session 2 Registration”, click on it.
You will be redirected to a white screen displaying “Registration for JEE(Main)-2026 [Session-II]”, click on the button.
If logging in for the first time, click on “New Registration” and register yourself.
You can then log in using your registration number and password.
Fill the application form
Upload the relevant documents, like the photograph and signature
Fee payment through UPI, Credit/Debit/Netbanking
Submit the application form and download it for your reference.

Candidates are advised to register themselves at the earliest since the application form is reopened for a short window. Also, during the last few hours, site congestion has been reported many times earlier.

JEE Main Session 2 Registration Fees 2026

The NTA has specified the category-wise registration fees for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 in their press release. Different fees are applicable for candidates appearing in Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech), Paper 2A (B.Arch), Paper 2B (B.Planning), or combinations. The fee entails has been provided in the table below:
