About Karnataka State Law University
Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) was established in January 2009 by the Government of Karnataka under the KSLU Act, 2009, with its headquarters at Navanagar, Hubballi. It is the largest affiliating law university in Asia, providing affiliation to 127 law colleges spread across the entire state of Karnataka.
The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). KSLU is accredited with ‘A’ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and all its law programmes are approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
The university’s vision is to transform Karnataka into a legally conscious society by providing quality legal education that is professionally competent and socially relevant.
