RBI Assistant 2026: Steps to Apply

Candidates must complete the online application process on the RBI recruitment portal. The following steps are outlined in the official notification:

  1. Visit the official RBI website at https://www.rbi.org.in/ and navigate to the ā€˜Opportunities @ RBI’ section or directly access the careers/recruitment page.
  2. Locate the link titled ā€œRecruitment for the post of Assistant – Panel Year 2025ā€ and click on ā€œApply Onlineā€.
  3. Register by providing basic details such as name, email ID, mobile number, and date of birth to generate a provisional registration number and password.
  4. Log in using the provisional registration number and password sent to the registered email and mobile.
  5. Fill in the online application form carefully, including personal details, educational qualifications, category, preferred exam centre, and other required information.
  6. Upload scanned copies of the latest photograph, signature, and left thumb impression as per the specified dimensions and file size mentioned in the notification.
  7. Preview the filled application form to verify all entries and make corrections if necessary before final submission.
  8. Pay the non-refundable application fee online using debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI, or other available modes (Rs 450 for General/OBC; Rs 50 for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-servicemen/RBI staff categories).
  9. Submit the application and retain a printout of the e-receipt and completed application form for future reference.

Applications submitted through any mode other than online will not be accepted. Candidates are advised to apply well before the last date to avoid technical issues.
