The SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) has officially opened the SRMJEEE 2026 Slot Booking window for Phase 1. Candidates who have registered for the entrance exam can now head to the official portal to reserve their preferred exam date and time.

As per the latest notification, the slot booking process is purely on a first-come, first-served basis, making it essential for students to act quickly to secure their desired schedule.

The SRMJEEE (SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination) is the gateway for admissions into B.Tech programs across SRMIST campuses, including Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani, and NCR Ghaziabad.

The university has provided a very tight window for slot booking. Candidates must ensure they complete the process within the stipulated time to avoid any last-minute technical glitches.

How to Book SRMJEEE 2026 Slots?

To make the process easier for students, SRMIST has integrated the slot booking with the candidate login portal. Follow these simple steps to book your exam slot:

  1. Visit the Official Portal: Go to admissions.srmist.edu.in.

  2. Login: Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth/Password.

  3. Access Slot Booking: Click on the ‘Book Exam Slot’ tab available on the dashboard.

  4. Select Preferences: Choose your preferred exam date and time slot from the available options.

  5. Confirm and Submit: Review your choices carefully before hitting the ‘Submit’ button. Once confirmed, slots cannot be changed under any circumstances.

  6. Download Admit Card: Immediately after successful booking, your SRMJEEE 2026 Hall Ticket will be generated. Download and print it for the exam day.

SRMJEEE 2026 Exam Slots & Timing

The Phase 1 exam will be conducted in Remote Proctored Online Mode (RPOM), meaning students can take the test from the comfort of their homes using a laptop or desktop with a functional webcam.

The exam is divided into two main slots daily.

  • Slot 1: 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM

  • Slot 2: 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM

Students are advised to check the system requirements (Windows 10 or above, stable internet, and functional microphone/webcam) well in advance.

Important Instructions for Candidates

  • First-Come, First-Served: If a particular slot is filled, it will no longer be visible in the dropdown menu. If you have a specific date in mind, book it immediately.

  • Admit Card is Mandatory: You cannot appear for the exam without the hall ticket. Ensure the details (name, photograph, and exam date) are clearly visible.

  • Mock Tests: SRMIST is expected to release official mock tests on April 21, 2026. Taking these is highly recommended to familiarize yourself with the remote proctoring environment.

  • Phase 2 & 3: If you missed the Phase 1 registration, the application window for Phase 2 (June exams) and Phase 3 (July exams) is currently open.
