TS POLYCET 2026 Counselling Begins; Complete Fee Payment & Slot Booking by May 31

Candidates who qualified in the Telangana Polytechnic Common Entrance Test can now participate in the first phase of counseling by completing online registration, fee payment, and slot booking for certificate verification.

According to the official schedule, students must complete the processing fee payment and slot booking by May 31, 2026. The counseling process is being conducted online through the official portal. The first phase includes registration, document verification, web option entry, seat allotment, and reporting to allotted colleges.

This counseling process is an important step for students seeking admission into diploma engineering and non-engineering courses offered by government-aided and private polytechnic colleges in Telangana.

TS POLYCET 2026 Counselling Starts

The counseling process began on May 27, 2026. Students who passed the TS POLYCET exam can now log in to the official website and complete the necessary steps for admission. The authorities have advised candidates to complete all formalities before the deadline to avoid technical issues at the last moment.

The counseling process is being conducted in multiple stages. Candidates first need to pay the processing fee and then book a slot for certificate verification at a nearby Help Line Center (HLC). Only students who complete slot booking will be allowed to attend document verification.

Officials have also announced that the provisional seat allotment for the first phase will be released on or before June 6, 2026. Classes for the new academic session are expected to begin from June 9.

The counseling processing fee differs according to category.

• Rs. 600 for OC and BC candidates
• Rs. 300 for SC and ST candidates

The authorities have also announced a final phase of counseling for students who miss the first round or are not allotted seats.

The final phase registration and slot booking process is expected to begin on June 15, 2026. Certificate verification will take place on June 16, followed by web option entry and final seat allotment.

Students who do not receive a seat in the first phase can participate in the second round without registering again. However, those who skipped the first phase must complete the full registration process during the final phase.

Academic Session to Begin from June 9

As per the official schedule, the academic session for TS POLYCET 2026 admissions will begin from June 9. Orientation programs for newly admitted students are expected to continue till June 10.
