Key Data: A Look Back at Main Exam Statistics (2026)
The supplementary exams are designed to give students a secondary chance to clear subjects without losing a complete academic year. Here is a look at the data from the annual exams held earlier this year, highlighting why the supplementary cycle is vital:
-
SSC (Class 10) Annual Results: Declared on May 8, 2026. Out of the 15,42,472 candidates who sat for the exam, 14,20,486 successfully cleared it, registering an overall pass percentage of 92.09%. Girls recorded a pass percentage of 94.96%, outperforming boys who scored 89.56%.
-
HSC (Class 12) Annual Results: Declared on May 2, 2026. The overall pass percentage stood at 89.79%. Out of 14,33,058 appearing students, girls led with 93.15% while boys recorded 86.80%. Within the core streams, Science recorded the highest success rate at 96.44%.
The division-wise exams for both primary and supplementary tests were administered uniformly across nine divisions: Pune, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, Latur, Kolhapur, Amravati, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, and Konkan.
Students are reminded that the online scorecard is provisional. The hard-copy marksheet certificates will be distributed by the respective schools at a later date. Successful candidates can instantly use their digital marksheets to fast-track ongoing admissions to higher academic cycles, including FYJC (Class 11) streams and higher degree programs.
