DU UG Mid-Entry Reg & Round 3 Allocation Schedule Out: Check Dates, Process & More
The University of Delhi (DU) mid-entry registrations and the third round of undergraduate admissions under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-UG) 2026Â are set to begin. Mid-entry registrations begin from August 3-5, 2026 for these rounds at admission.uod.ac.in. This schedule accommodates students who missed earlier admission phases, made errors, or had invalid documents. While registering, students must also pay a non-refundable mid-entry fee of Rs. 1,000. Besides, DU UG Round 3 seat allocation will be announced on 8th August 2026.
Apart from this, the university will also declare the ward quota allocation on 1st August 2026. Presently, over 71,000 students have confirmed their admission in UG courses in Delhi University.

Who is Eligible for DU UG Mid-Entry Registrations?
DU’s mid-entry window allows eligible candidates who missed earlier admission opportunities to participate in the CSAS UG 2026 admission process.
- Candidates who did not register in Round 1 or Round 2 can apply.
- Students who could not complete admission in earlier rounds are eligible.
- Applicants with subject mapping or document verification issues can register.
- CBSE Class 12 compartment candidates are advised to complete Phase I registration.
- A non-refundable mid-entry fee of ₹1,000 is applicable.
- Eligible mid-entry candidates will be considered in CSAS UG Round 3.
- Mid-entry is not available for ECA, Sports, CW, and Ward Supernumerary quotas.
- It is also not applicable for BA (Hons) Music, B.Sc. (Physical Education, Health Education & Sports), and BFA programmes.

DU UG Admission 2026: Current Status and Numbers
As of July 29, 2026, at 6:30 pm, more than 71,000 candidates have already confirmed their undergraduate admissions for the 2026-27 academic session, with a total of 71,342 students securing their seats. The CSAS-UG 2026 admission process is based on CUET UG 2026 scores, aiming to fill approximately 93,033 undergraduate seats across the University of Delhi.
Following the second round of allocations, 25,088 candidates exercised the ‘Upgrade’ option, indicating their preference for a higher choice of course or college. Concurrently, 32,233 students selected the ‘Freeze’ option after Round 2, confirming their satisfaction with their allotted seats and not wishing to participate in further upgrade rounds.
