Once the centralized Final Phase counselling concludes on August 7, TGCHE will initiate institution-level admission processes to fill any remaining vacant seats across colleges:
-
Internal Sliding (August 12 – August 17, 2026): Students who have already secured admission in a college can apply to change their engineering branch within the same institution, subject to seat availability and rank merit.
-
Spot Admissions (August 16, 2026 Onwards): Individual engineering colleges will conduct open spot admission rounds directly on campus to fill unfilled seats. Candidates participating in spot admissions should note that statutory fee reimbursement schemes may not apply for spot round allotments as per prevailing state norms.
Students are urged to complete all registration requirements promptly tomorrow on tgeapcet.nic.in to ensure participation in this final centralized allocation round.
