Programme-Wise Cutoff Scores Across Campuses
The B.E. Computer Science programme at the Pilani campus recorded the highest closing score, standing at 308 marks out of 390. This marks a slight increase from the 2025 cutoff of 304 marks for the same programme, though it remains lower than the 2024 cutoff of 327 marks and the 2023 cutoff of 331 marks. Following Pilani, the B.E. Computer Science programme at the Goa campus closed at 274 marks, while the Hyderabad campus saw its B.E. Computer Science programme close at 272 marks.
Significant differences were observed between the campuses for the Computer Science discipline, with a 34-mark difference between Pilani and Goa CSE, and a 36-mark gap between Pilani and Hyderabad CSE. The Goa and Hyderabad CSE cutoffs differed by 2 marks. Other notable B.E. programme cutoffs include Pilani Mathematics & Computing at 299 marks and Pilani ECE at 289 marks. BITSAT Examination Structure and Admission Process
BITSAT is a computer-based online entrance examination conducted by BITS Pilani for admission to its integrated first degree programmes. The exam assesses candidates’ knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (or Biology), English Proficiency, and Logical Reasoning. The BITSAT exam pattern consists of 130 multiple-choice questions, to be completed within a 3-hour duration.
Each correct answer in BITSAT is awarded +3 marks, while each incorrect answer results in a deduction of -1 mark. There is no bonus question feature in the BITSAT exam from 2022 onwards. The BITSAT 2026 Session 2 concluded on May 26, 2026, with results expected in the first week of June 2026. A tuition-fee waiver was announced for the top 500 BITSAT 2026 rankers. Candidates who score at or above the prescribed cutoff will have better chances of securing admission through the BITSAT counselling 2026 process.
