The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) Result 2026 on September 18, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now access their results and scorecards on the official NTA portal, exams.nta.nic.in/aiapget. This examination is crucial for admissions to Postgraduate ASU & H Courses for the Academic Session 2026–27.

A total of 49,864 candidates participated in the AIAPGET 2026 examination, which was conducted on August 22, 2026. A re-examination for 49 affected candidates was later held on September 01, 2026. The AIAPGET serves as the sole entrance examination for admission to MD/MS programmes in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Homoeopathy across all AYUSH Colleges, Institutions, Universities, and Deemed Universities nationwide.

AIAPGET 2026 Cutoff Percentiles and Top Scores

The cutoff percentile for AIAPGET 2026 has been set at the 50th percentile for Unreserved (UR) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories. For Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Caste (SC), and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories, the cutoff percentile is generally 40th. Also, the prescribed PwD cut-off is 45th percentile for UR/EWS-PwD candidates, and 40th percentile for applicable reserved PwD categories.

The examination saw varying highest scores across the unlike disciplines. In Ayurveda, the highest score achieved was 390 out of 480. Homoeopathy recorded the highest score at 417 out of 480. For Siddha, the top score was 319 out of 480, while in Unani, the highest score reached 359 out of 480. These scores reflect the performance of candidates in the respective streams.

Examination Logistics and Candidate Participation

The AIAPGET 2026 examination was conducted in 205 centres spread across 104 cities. A total of 51,482 candidates registered for the examination, with 49,864 ultimately appearing. The application process commenced with the notification release on July 10, 2026, and concluded on July 30, 2026, at 09:00 PM. The final answer key was also released on September 18, 2026, coinciding with the result declaration.

Application fees for the examination varied by category: General (UR) candidates paid Rs. 2700/-, General-EWS/OBC-(NCL) candidates paid Rs. 2450/-, and SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender candidates paid Rs. 1800/-. The NTA has been conducting AIAPGET since 2019, acting on behalf of the Ministry of Ayush/NCISM/NCH with the approval of the Ministry of Education.

Post-Result Counselling Process

The National Testing Agency (NTA) clarifies that it does not conduct counselling for AIAPGET admissions. Instead, the Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) is in charge of conducting counselling for All India quota seats. For State/UT quota seats, the designated State/UT Counselling Authorities will manage the counselling process.
