TOSS SSC/Inter: Download hall tickets by Oct 10 for Oct 11-17 exams

The Telangana Open School Society (TOSS) released hall tickets for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Intermediate public examinations 2026 on September 26, 2026. The examinations are scheduled to be conducted from October 11 to October 17, 2026, as announced by the Telangana School Education Department in a press note issued on September 28, 2026.

This examination cycle provides an opportunity for approximately 50,000 candidates for SSC and 40,000 candidates for Intermediate courses, including those who may not have passed the April session exams. The TOSS provides an alternative educational pathway for individuals unable to attend regular schooling, having introduced the SSC course in 2008-09 and the Intermediate course in 2010-11.

Downloading TOSS SSC and Intermediate Hall Tickets

Class 10 and 12 students can download their hall tickets from the official TOSS website, telanganaopenschool.org, or directly from portal.telanganaopenschool.org. To access the admit card, students need to navigate to the link titled ‘TOSS – SSC & Intermediate Public Exams October – 2026 Hall Tickets’ and then select either ‘SSC hall ticket’ or ‘Inter hall ticket’.

Upon reaching the login page, candidates are required to enter credentials such as their student name, district, and school. It is mandatory for students to carry a hard copy of the downloaded hall ticket along with their original Aadhaar ID to the examination center on all examination days. Hall tickets have also been dispatched to the respective AI Institutions.

Examination Schedule and Logistics

The theory examinations for both SSC and Intermediate courses will be held in two sessions daily: a Morning Session from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and an Afternoon Session from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Students are required to report at their allotted examination centers by 8:00 AM daily. The TOSS Intermediate practical examinations are scheduled to run from October 23 to October 30, 2026.

For the SSC exams, approximately 50,000 candidates will appear across 203 centers, with 38 flying squads and 203 sitting squads deployed to oversee the process. For the Intermediate exams, approximately 40,000 candidates will appear across 145 centers, supported by 34 flying squads and 145 sitting squads. Students are advised to visit their allotted examination center at least two days prior to the commencement of the examinations.

Examination Oversight and Candidate Numbers

The Telangana Open School Society has implemented measures to ensure the smooth conduct of the examinations. This includes the deployment of flying squads and sitting squads at all examination centers. The previous TOSS theory examinations for the April session were conducted from April 20 to April 27, 2026, with practical examinations from April 28 to May 5, 2026. Results for that session were scheduled for release on May 30, 2026.
