HPBOSE D.El.Ed admit cards released; Part-I exams begin October 5

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE), Dharamshala, today, September 29, 2026, released the admit cards for the D.El.Ed. Part-I and Part-II examinations. These examinations are set to begin on October 5, 2026, and will affect students in regular, failed, and re-appear categories across the state.

Board Chairman Dr. Rajesh Sharma confirmed that the admit cards have been made available through the official logins of the respective District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs). Candidates are advised to contact their DIETs to obtain their admit cards, which are essential for appearing in the upcoming examinations.

Examination Schedule and Timings

The D.El.Ed. examinations will be conducted in two distinct phases. Part-I examinations for the Regular Batch 2025-27 and Re-appear Batch 2024-26 are scheduled from October 5 to October 17, 2026. Following this, Part-II examinations for the Regular Batch 2024-26 and Re-appear Batch 2023-25 will take place from October 21 to November 3, 2026. Both sets of examinations will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The official notifications regarding the exam date sheet were issued on September 15, 2026. Examinees are advised to adhere strictly to the schedule and instructions provided by the board.

Admit Card Verification and Candidate Instructions

Board Chairman Dr. Rajesh Sharma has issued specific instructions to the management of all District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) regarding the distribution of admit cards. DIETs are mandated to verify all information on each admit card before it is handed over to candidates. This verification process includes checking the examinee’s name, roll number, designated examination centre, and subjects to ensure accuracy. Any discrepancies identified on the admit cards must be reported promptly to the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) for correction.

Examinees have been advised by HPBOSE to arrive at their designated examination centres at least 30 minutes ahead of the scheduled examination time. This early arrival is intended to support the completion of necessary pre-examination formalities. In addition, candidates are encouraged to regularly check the official HPBOSE website, hpbose.org, for any additional examination-related updates and instructions that may be released.
