JAC class 9th and 11th special exam 2026 result out: download provisional marksheet

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), Ranchi, activated the download link for the Class 9th and Class 11th Special (Compartment) Examination 2026 results on September 29, 2026. Students who appeared for these examinations can now access their provisional marksheets on the council’s official website, jacresults.com.

This special examination was conducted earlier this year to provide an additional opportunity for students who were unable to pass in one or more subjects during the annual Class 9 and 11 board examinations. Successful candidates from Class 9 will be promoted to Class 10, while successful Class 11 candidates will advance to Class 12.

Accessing and Verifying Results

To view their result card, students are required to enter their Roll Code and Roll Number, as issued on their hall ticket, on the jacresults.com portal. The downloaded digital mark sheets are provisional and should be carefully verified for accuracy. Key details to check include the student’s full name, names of father and mother, Roll Code and Roll Number, name of the school or institution, class (Class 9 or Class 11), subject-wise marks obtained (both theory and practical/internal assessment), total marks obtained, maximum marks, and the qualifying status (Pass / Fail / Promoted).

In case of any discrepancies, such as incorrect personal details or errors in marks, students must inform their school principal and submit a written request. The school will then forward a correction request to the Jharkhand Academic Council. For issues related to incorrect mark totals or unevaluated answers, an official review can be requested directly through the JAC website.

Official Marksheets and Academic Progression

The online scorecard available on jacresults.com serves solely as a provisional marksheet. Original hard copies of the marksheets and pass certificates will be sent to the respective schools by the Jharkhand Academic Council after a few weeks. Students are advised to collect these official documents from their school authorities once they are available.

The annual Class 9 and Class 11 board examinations are part of the regular examination schedule conducted by the JAC, which also includes Class 8th, 10th, and 12th board examinations every year. Results for all these classes are released online on official websites, with students able to check them using their roll code and roll number.

The Class 9th Annual Examination 2026 took place on March 06–07, 2026, with its result released on April 17, 2026. Similarly, the Class 11th Annual Examination 2026 was held from February 25–28, 2026, and its result was published on April 14, 2026.
