The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has released the examination schedule for the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) February 2027 session. The examinations are scheduled to take place from February 1 to February 4, 2027, across various examination centers in major cities throughout India. This session marks another iteration under the new CSEET structure, which became effective from June 2026.

Prospective candidates are required to complete their registration for the CSEET February 2027 session by October 31, 2026. The enrollment process will next open on November 16, 2026, and close on December 15, 2026, with a late fee option available until December 20, 2026.
CSEET February 2027 Examination Schedule and Format
The CSEET February 2027 examination will be conducted in offline mode. The schedule includes subjective papers for Business Communication, Fundamentals of Accounting, and Economic and Business Environment, along with an OMR-based paper for Business Law and Management. Candidates will receive an additional 15 minutes of reading time for the question paper, from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM, before the commencement of the exams.
The new CSEET structure, implemented from June 2026, consists of four papers. Subjective papers will run from 2:30 PM to 5:45 PM, incorporating the reading time. The OMR-Based Paper, Business Law and Management, is a two-hour examination worth 100 marks, with Business Laws accounting for 60 marks and Business Management for 40 marks. There is no negative marking under this new structure.

Registration and Enrollment Deadlines
The registration window for the CSEET February 2027 session closes on October 31, 2026. Following registration, the enrollment window will open on November 16, 2026, allowing candidates to complete their enrollment until December 15, 2026. A late fee option for enrollment will be available from December 16, 2026, to December 20, 2026.

Eligibility, Fees, and Passing Criteria
To be eligible for CSEET, candidates must be an Indian National and have passed or be appearing in the 12th standard (10+2) or its equivalent. The registration fee for CSEET is ₹7,500, which includes a Student Induction Programme and online classes. An additional exam fee of ₹1,500 is applicable per session.
Concessions are available for certain categories: a 50% discount on both registration and exam fees is offered to candidates from SC/ST categories, Physically Handicapped individuals, or those from Northeastern states, Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep, or Himachal Pradesh. Also, students from Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh Union Territories are eligible for a 100% waiver on the registration fee. To clear the exam, candidates must achieve a minimum of 40% in each paper and an aggregate of 50% across all papers. All papers must be passed in a single sitting, with no exemptions or carry-forward of marks.
Validity and Post-Exam Procedures
Registration for CSEET remains valid for three years from the calendar month of registration. The result validity is one year from the date of announcement, within which candidates must register for the CS Executive Programme. The ICSI will issue only electronic marksheets, and no refunds are available except in cases of double payment.
The CSEET exam is now conducted three times a year, in February, June, and October sessions. The results for the February session are typically declared by the end of March. The new structure, which commenced in June 2026, aims to align the program with current corporate and regulatory trends, enhance the evaluation of conceptual understanding, and provide renewed study materials.
