ICAR AIEEA PG Mop-Up Round 2026 choice filling begins; complete by October 21

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has initiated the choice filling window for the AIEEA PG Mop-Up Round 2026 today, October 19, 2026, at 5:00 P.M. This round supports admissions to postgraduate programmes in agriculture and allied sciences, specifically excluding veterinary stream and PhD programmes. The mop-up round is portion of ICAR’s counselling process for the 2026-27 academic year, following four regular counselling rounds. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been doing conducting the ICAR AIEEA (PG) examinations since 2019, feeding into the admission process for the 74 Agricultural Universities under the ICAR-AU system.

Following the choice filling, the seat allotment result for the mop-up round will be released on October 23, 2026, from 11:00 A.M. onwards. Candidates who are allotted seats must then proceed with online document verification by the respective universities, payment of the seat acceptance fee, and generation of a Provisional Admission Letter where applicable. The deadline for online document verification by universities is October 24, 2026, at 11:50 A.M., with subsequent deadlines for re-submission of documents and fee deposition on the same day.

Post-Allotment Procedures for Candidates

Upon seat allotment, candidates must complete several crucial steps to confirm their admission. This includes online document verification, which must be concluded by October 24, 2026, 11:50 A.M. If any documents require re-submission, candidates have until October 24, 2026, 02:00 P.M. to do so, with universities completing verification of re-submitted documents by the same time.

The final step for candidates is the deposition of the seat acceptance fee, which must be completed by October 24, 2026, 04:00 P.M. Generation of the Provisional Admission Letter follows the successful completion of these steps. Universities are scheduled to complete their reporting by October 24, 2026, 8:00 P.M.
