Bar Council of India Announces AIBE XXI (21) Schedule, Registration Begins Feb 11, 2026, Check Full Schedule

The Bar Council of India (BCI) has released the official schedule for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) XXI (21) through a notification dated January 7, 2026, setting the examination date as June 7, 2026, applicable to law graduates across the country seeking the Certificate of Practice.

According to the official notification issued by the BCI, this certification examination evaluates candidates’ eligibility to practice law in Indian courts, conducted annually in offline mode across multiple centres nationwide.

Steps for candidates:

  2. Fill in personal, educational, and enrolment details accurately.
  3. Upload the required documents and pay the prescribed fee online.
  4. Submit the application before the deadline and retain a printout for reference.

This process applies to all law graduates intending to appear for the certification exam, with the BCI emphasising adherence to guidelines for smooth processing.

Performance Statistics for AIBE XX Exam

A total of 2,51,968 candidates appeared for the examination, out of which 1,74,386 successfully qualified, recording an overall pass percentage of 69.21%.

Category-wise qualifying details:

  • Unreserved: 90,111 candidates passed
  • OBC: 53,513 candidates passed
  • SC: 25,290 candidates passed
  • ST: 5,472 candidates passed

Gender breakdown:

  • Male candidates appeared: 1,65,613; passed: 1,13,063
  • Female candidates appeared: 86,336; passed: 61,310

The qualifying marks were set at 45% (43 out of 95 marks) for General and OBC categories, and 40% (38 out of 95 marks) for SC, ST, and PwD categories. The scorecard includes details such as name, roll number, pass/fail status, and other relevant information.

  3. Enter login credentials, including roll number and date of birth or password.
