Atal Medical and Research University, Himachal Pradesh (AMRUHP), today, October 1, 2026, released the provisional seat matrix for HP NEET UG Round 3 counselling 2026. Concurrently, the choice filling window for eligible candidates has opened on the official website, amruhp.ac.in.

This round of counselling is for admission to MBBS and BDS seats under the 85 percent state quota, primarily targeting candidates who may have missed earlier rounds or wish to upgrade their previously allotted seats. The NEET UG 2026 exam was conducted on June 21, 2026, with results declared on July 16, 2026.

HP NEET UG Round 3 Counselling Schedule and Deadlines

The choice filling and locking process for HP NEET UG Round 3 is active from October 1 to October 4, 2026. Candidates who have registered for this round are required to submit their preferences within this timeframe. The provisional seat allocation is scheduled for October 6, 2026, followed by the final seat allocation on October 8, 2026. Reporting to the allotted colleges for admission will take place on October 12 or 13, 2026.

Fresh online applications for Round 3 were accepted from September 22 to September 27, 2026. The provisional merit list for this round was released on September 29, 2026, and the final merit list was published on September 30, 2026. The vacancy position for Round 3 was also displayed on October 1, 2026. Six government medical colleges are participating in HP NEET UG Round 3 counselling, each offering a total MBBS intake of 120 seats. For BDS admissions, four dental colleges are involved, with a combined total BDS intake of 295 seats. The seat matrix, available as a PDF on the AMRUHP website, details the available vacancies across these institutions for the 85 percent state quota.

Candidates can view the seat matrix without logging in to the portal. Registered Round 3 candidates have the option to add, reorder, or remove their choices during the choice filling period. It is mandatory for candidates to lock their choices before the specified deadline of October 4, 2026, to ensure their preferences are considered for seat allocation.

Application Fees and Next Steps for Candidates

The application fee for HP NEET UG Counselling is ₹2000 for candidates belonging to the General category. For candidates from SC, ST, and Person With Disability (PwD) categories, the application fee is ₹1000.
