How NEST 2026 Result Has Been Prepared

The NEST examination follows a unique evaluation method. The final merit score is prepared using the best three sections among Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.

Each section carries a maximum of 60 marks. However, while preparing the merit list, the authority considers the scores of the best three sections only. Therefore, the maximum score used for ranking is 180 marks.
