The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has officially revised the counselling schedule for the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (AP EAPCET) 2026. In a major relief for thousands of state engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy aspirants, the deadline for Phase 1 online registration and processing fee payment has been extended to August 1, 2026.

Earlier scheduled to conclude on July 29, the extension allows eligible candidates extra time to upload certificates, clear fee payments, and prepare for the web options entry stage. Candidates seeking admission into undergraduate B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, and Agriculture programs across participating universities and private institutions in Andhra Pradesh can register on the official portal at cap.apcfss.in.

Why the Deadline Extension Matters for Aspirants

The decision to extend registration follows requests from candidates who faced unexpected delays in obtaining category, income, or study certificates required during online document verification. Over 2.45 lakh candidates qualified in AP EAPCET 2026—comprising 1,82,317 candidates in the Engineering stream and 63,546 in the Agriculture and Pharmacy streams.

Because online certificate verification by designated Help Line Centres (HLCs) will continue simultaneously until August 2, candidates are advised to complete their registration immediately to avoid last-minute portal congestion.
