Course Offerings and Specializations at the Tourism School

The Tourism School in Delhi NCR provides various diploma courses tailored to different career aspirations within the travel and tourism industry. For those interested in air ticketing, the institute offers GDS or Aviation Diplomas, available as 1.5-month or 3-month courses. For aspiring tour guides, the Travel Package Manager course is a short-term option, while the one-year Travel and Tourism Management Foundation Diploma is also available. To become an International Tour Guide, enrollment in either the Foundation Diploma or the Advanced Diploma is recommended. For individuals looking to start a large-scale travel agency, the ‘Travel Agency Management Entrepreneur’ course is suggested, while the ‘Travel Business’ course is recommended for a home-based business. For airport-related jobs, the Aviation or Foundation Diploma courses are most suitable.

ADMISSION Process and Fees at the Tourism School

The admission process at The Tourism School is designed to be accessible, with new batches typically starting every second month. Prospective students can visit the institute between 11 AM and 5 PM for counseling and admissions, during official hours of 9 AM to 6 PM. The process involves paying the first installment of fees and submitting four passport-sized photographs, along with photocopies of identity and qualification proofs. An online admission process is also available for remote completion. The Tourism School does not conduct interviews or entrance exams for admission. Fees are inclusive of all applicable taxes, with no hidden charges or discounts, and are non-refundable under any circumstances. The institution provides comprehensive notes, eliminating the need for students to purchase additional books, and there are no extra charges for outdoor activities. All courses at The Tourism School include mandatory exams, such as class tests, surprise tests, and final examinations. The school also states that it does not limit the number of interviews it will arrange for students.

Programs at New Delhi YMCA and DIHM&Ct

New Delhi YMCA offers a Diploma in Travel Tourism & Airport Handling, with a registration fee of Rs. 680/-. The institution accepts applications from all young men and women without distinction of caste, creed, or religion, and applicants can apply either online or in person.

The Delhi Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (DIHM&CT) has announced DIPLOMA ADMISSION NOTICE 2026-27. Established in 1983 by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, in association with the Government of Delhi, DIHM&CT evolved from the Food Craft Institute to a full-fledged Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology in 1999. From the academic year 2023-2024 onwards, DIHM&CT awards 3-year Bachelor degrees in Hospitality & Hotel Administration through Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. The institute is affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management, New Delhi.
