NEET 2026 Admit Card Release Date: When Will NTA Issue Hall Ticket?
The wait for over 24 lakh medical aspirants is almost over. As the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2026 approaches on May 3, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has already moved into the final stages of the examination process.
On April 12, 2026, the NTA officially released the Exam City Intimation Slips. This has naturally sparked the big question among students: When will the actual admit card be available for download?
Expected Release Date for NEET 2026 Admit Card
Historically, the NTA releases the NEET hall ticket approximately 3 to 7 days before the exam date. Following this trend, and considering that the city slips are already out, candidates can expect the NEET 2026 Admit Card to be released between April 28 and April 30, 2026.
While the city slip tells you where your exam city is to help you plan travel, the admit card is the only document that will reveal your exact exam center address and specific reporting time.
Latest Updates You Need to Know
This year, the NTA has introduced stricter verification measures to ensure transparency. Students should be aware of a few key changes:
-
Aadhaar-based eKYC: Verification was conducted during registration.
-
Live Photographs: The process now uses live photo captures to prevent impersonation.
-
New Reporting Rules: Candidates wearing customary or cultural dress are required to report to the center at least one hour early (by 12:30 PM) for thorough frisking.
How to Download Your NEET 2026 Admit Card?
Once the link goes live on the official website, follow these simple steps to get your hall ticket:

-
Find the Link: Look for the “Download Admit Card for NEET (UG) – 2026” link on the homepage.

- Check and Download: Once it appears, verify your name, photo, and center details. Download the PDF and take at least 3-4 clear printouts.
Vital Details to Check on Your Hall Ticket
Errors on the admit card can cause major issues on exam day. As soon as you download it, double-check:
-
Personal Info: Is your name and date of birth spelled exactly as per your ID?
-
Exam Center: Is the full address of the venue clearly mentioned?
-
Roll Number: Ensure it is legible.
-
Reporting Time: Most centers close their gates strictly at 1:30 PM. Ensure you know your specific slot.
