This update affects all NEET UG 2026-qualified candidates vying for MBBS and BDS admissions in Punjab.

The university revised the dates after processing the extensive merit and choice-filling data submitted by applicants. This five-day shift from the originally scheduled August 22 allotment directly impacts the subsequent reporting and admission window, which will now commence on August 30, 2026. BFUHS conducts counselling for 85 per cent state quota seats across government, private, and university-run medical and dental colleges, including minority quota seats.

Candidates who have participated in the Punjab NEET UG 2026 Round 1 counselling can access their provisional seat allotment result directly from the official BFUHS admission portal. The university has specified that the results will be hosted on bfuhsonline.ac.in from August 27, 2026. You can’t skip for candidates to have their registered user ID and password ready to log in and view their individual allotment status.

Punjab NEET UG 2026 Counselling: Objections and Reporting

Following the declaration of the provisional seat allotment result, BFUHS has set August 28, 2026, as the last date for candidates to submit any objections. The university has made it clear that all objections must be submitted in person at its Faridkot campus. Online or email submissions for objections will not be entertained. Candidates submitting objections must carry printouts of their allotment letter, merit rank, and all supporting documents for verification.

Should any objections lead to changes, a revised provisional seat allotment will be displayed on August 29, 2026. Later, the physical reporting, document verification, medical examination, and admission formalities, along with the payment of six months’ tuition fee, are scheduled from August 30 to September 5, 2026. This full process is crucial for securing admission to MBBS and BDS programmes under the state quota.
