TG ICET 2026 Counselling Notification Released; First Phase Slot Booking Begins July 31

The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has officially announced the detailed notification for the TG ICET 2026 counselling process. Candidates who qualified in the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TG ICET 2026) can now prepare for admissions into Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programs across universities and affiliated colleges in Telangana.

According to the official notification published on the official portal, tgicet.nic.in, the first phase of online registration, processing fee payment, and slot booking for document verification will begin on July 31, 2026.

TG ICET 2026 Counselling Schedule and Key Dates

The admissions authority has issued a complete schedule covering both the First Phase and Final Phase of counselling:

First Phase Schedule

  • July 31 to August 5, 2026: Online filing of basic information, payment of processing fee, and slot booking for selecting Helpline Centres, date, and time for certificate verification.

  • August 1 to August 5, 2026: Certificate verification at designated Helpline Centres for candidates who completed slot booking.

  • August 3 to August 8, 2026: Web option entry for candidates whose certificates have been verified.

  • August 8, 2026: Freezing of selected web options.

  • On or before August 11, 2026: Declaration of provisional first-phase seat allotment results.

  • August 11 to August 14, 2026: Payment of tuition fees and online self-reporting by allotted candidates.

Final Phase Schedule

  • August 17, 2026: Registration, fee payment, and slot booking for candidates who did not participate in the first phase.

  • August 18, 2026: Certificate verification for slot-booked candidates.

  • August 18 to August 19, 2026: Web option entry for the final round.

  • On or before August 22, 2026: Final phase provisional seat allotment result.

  • August 22 to August 25, 2026: Reporting at allotted colleges and final fee submission.

  • August 24, 2026: Release of guidelines for spot admissions in private unaided colleges.

Step-by-Step TG ICET Counselling Process

To secure a seat, eligible candidates must complete every step of the web counselling procedure accurately:

  1. Online Registration and Fee Payment: Visit tgicet.nic.in and log in using your TG ICET hall ticket number and date of birth. Pay the non-refundable processing fee of ₹1,200 for General/Unreserved candidates or ₹600 for SC/ST candidates through online payment modes.

  2. Slot Booking: Select a preferred Helpline Centre (HLC), date, and time slot for in-person document verification.

  3. Physical Certificate Verification: Visit the chosen Helpline Centre on your assigned date and time. Officials will verify your academic and identity certificates and issue a Registration Receipt.

  4. Web Option Entry: Log in to the portal after document verification to choose your preferred colleges and courses in order of priority. Submit maximum options to improve admission chances.

  5. Seat Allotment: Seats will be allotted based on merit rank, category reservation, local status, and choices submitted.

  6. College Self-Reporting: Candidates receiving an allotment must download the seat allotment order, pay the required tuition fee online, and report to the allotted college within the stipulated deadline.

Candidates must bring original certificates along with two sets of self-attested photocopies to their assigned Helpline Centre:

  • TG ICET 2026 Hall Ticket and Rank Card

  • SSC (10th) and Intermediate (10+2) Marks Memos

  • Bachelor’s Degree Marks Sheet and Provisional Degree Certificate

  • Study / Transfer Certificate (TC) from Class IX to Graduation

  • Residence Certificate / Local Status proof

  • Caste Certificate and Latest Income Certificate (if applicable for fee reimbursement)

  • Aadhar Card and Special Category Certificates (NCC, Sports, PH, or CAP, if applicable)
