UGMAC 2026 stray round seat allotment out: report for admission by 31 October

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) declared the UGMAC 2026 Stray Vacancy Round seat allotment result on October 28, 2026. Candidates who have been allotted a seat in this final counselling stage for Bihar NEET UG 2026 admissions must report for document verification and admission by today, October 31, 2026.

The result and the allotment order are available for download on the official portal, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. This stray round aims to fill remaining vacant seats in various undergraduate medical, dental, and allied health programmes across government and private institutions in Bihar after previous counselling rounds concluded.

Stray Round Allotment and Admission Process

The BCECEB announced the UGMAC 2026 Stray Vacancy Round seat allotment result through Advisory No. BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/17, dated October 29, 2026. The provisional seat allotment result was published on October 28, 2026, and the downloading of allotment orders has been active since then, closing today, October 31, 2026. Candidates must log in using their UGMAC user ID and password to access their allotment letter.

The reporting window for document verification and admission commenced on October 29, 2026, and concludes today, October 31, 2026. Candidates who fail to report by the deadline will permanently forfeit their allotted seat. The allotment process is based on the UGMAC 2026 merit rank, which is derived from the NEET UG 2026 All India Rank.

Programmes and Institutions Covered

The stray round is the final counselling stage for Bihar NEET UG 2026 admissions, designed to fill any remaining vacant seats after the main and special rounds of seat allocation. It covers vacant seats in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BVSc and AH, and BFSc programmes. This includes MBBS and BDS courses in both government and private colleges across Bihar.

Specifically, BVSc and AH seats are covered at Bihar Veterinary College, Patna, while BFSc seats are covered at the College of Fisheries, Dholi. BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS programmes are covered in state AYUSH institutions. Only candidates who registered for the stray round by October 24, 2026, were eligible to participate, as fresh registrations were not accepted at this stage.

Required Documents and Fees for Admission

Candidates reporting for document verification and admission must carry a complete set of original documents along with two self-attested photocopies of each. These include the UGMAC 2026 allotment letter and rank card, NEET UG 2026 scorecard and admit card, Class 10 and 12 marksheets and certificates, proof of date of birth, a valid photo ID, and four recent passport-size photographs.

Also, candidates must present caste, EWS, or disability certificates if applicable, and a Bihar permanent resident certificate for state quota admissions. The admission fee, as prescribed by the allotted college, must be carried, payable via demand draft or online mode. The notice for the UGMAC 2026 Stray Vacancy Round was Advertisement No. BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/15, issued on October 18, 2026, with online registration and choice filling concluding on October 22, 2026.

1. Download the stray round allotment letter from bceceboard.bihar.gov.in immediately.
2. Arrange all original certificates and two sets of self-attested photocopies.
3. Keep the admission fee ready in demand draft or online mode.
4. Report at the allotted college on the scheduled verification date between October 29 and October 31, 2026.
5. Complete document verification and pay the admission fee on the spot.
