The registration process, which commenced on October 26, 2026, at 5:00 PM, is for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in government and private medical and dental colleges across the state.

Candidates seeking admission to medical and dental courses in Uttar Pradesh must complete their registration and fee payment by the stipulated deadlines. The Round 3 State Merit List is also scheduled for release today, October 28, 2026, with online choice filling set to begin later in the evening.

Key Dates and Deadlines for Round 3 Counselling

The UP NEET UG Round 3 counselling schedule outlines critical dates for registered candidates. Following the closure of registration and fee payment today, the online choice filling process will open at 5:00 PM. This phase allows candidates to select their preferred courses and institutions.

The choice filling window will remain open until October 31, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Then, the Round 3 Seat Allotment Result is scheduled for November 2, 2026. Successful candidates will then be able to download their allotment letters and complete admission formalities between November 3 and November 7, 2026.

Registration and Security Fee Structure

Candidates participating in the UP NEET UG Round 3 counselling are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee and a security deposit. The registration fee for all categories, including UR, OBC, SC, ST, and Women Candidates, is Rs. 2000/-. This fee must be paid by today, October 28, 2026, at 3:00 PM.

The security money varies based on the type of institution. For government colleges, the security deposit is Rs. 30,000/-, while for private colleges, it is Rs. 2,00,000/-. This security amount is refundable as per counselling rules and is intended to ensure candidates’ commitment to the allotted seats.

Uttar Pradesh offers a substantial number of MBBS and BDS seats through the NEET UG counselling process. There are 5,725 government MBBS seats and 8,300 private MBBS seats available in the state. For BDS courses, there are 203 government seats and 2,200 private seats. The counselling is conducted for eligible candidates who have qualified the NEET Exam.

The NEET UG 2025 qualifying cut-off for UR/EWS candidates is 686-144, while for OBC, SC, and ST categories, it is 143-113.
