Application Process and Deadlines for Ju and CU

Jadavpur University (JU) and the University of Calcutta (CU) have both opened their online application portals for the offline WBJEE DCAP 2026. Interested candidates for Jadavpur University programmes must complete their registration by October 23, 2026, at 11 AM. For the University of Calcutta, candidates have until October 27, 2026, at 2 PM to submit their applications.

Colleges and universities have been advised by the WBJEEB to accept applications through email or dedicated online portals for WBJEE DCAP 2026, although institutions may also opt for an offline application procedure. Admission to these available seats will be determined by candidates’ merit ranks, preferences, and seat availability. Overview of Decentralised Counselling

The decentralised counselling process targets seats left unoccupied after the centralised e-counselling rounds (Round 1, Round 2, and Round 3) and subsequent physical institute reporting. Institutions with vacant seats are permitted to conduct this counselling independently, provided they inform the West Bengal Higher Education Department and WBJEEB about available vacancies by submitting copies of their vacancy notifications.

More than 21,000 seats are estimated to be available across participating institutions. All participating institutions have been instructed to complete the admission process by October 31, 2026. The WBJEEB will publish a consolidated WBJEE 2026 Vacant Seat Matrix after individual participating colleges submit their final reporting audits.
