B.Tech Eligibility
To qualify for B.Tech admission at PICT Pune under the Institute Level management quota, candidates must meet specific academic qualification criteria set by state regulatory authorities. Applicants must have completed their Higher Secondary Certificate (12th class standard) examination with the required aggregate percentage in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) subjects.
Additionally, candidates must possess a valid, non-zero score in either MHT CET or JEE Main entrance examinations. Because direct admission at PICT Pune is merit-based without capitation fees or donations, candidate selection relies strictly on entrance test ranks and academic eligibility.
B.Tech Application Process
The application procedure for Institute Level / Against CAP (ACAP) seats begins when PICT releases official notifications on its portal. Candidates must complete online registration at admissions.pict.edu, enter personal and academic details, and upload competitive entrance test marksheets. An online application processing fee of approximately INR 1,000 must be paid during submission.
Following application registration, PICT publishes a provisional Institute Level merit list online. Candidates are given a dedicated grievance window to register objections or corrections. Once grievances are addressed, the final merit list is released, and eligible candidates are called for mandatory in-person counselling rounds on campus for seat allotment based on rank preference.
