Who can apply for VMOU MA
VMOU MA programmes take graduates holding a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university. The E-Prospectus gives the exact eligibility and fee for each programme and is the document to rely on.
How to apply when the window opens
- Open the VMOU online admission page and choose First Year / Fresh Admission.
- Fill in the form, choose the programme and upload the documents.
- Pay the fee online. If a card or net-banking payment fails, VMOU asks applicants to pay through an eMitra kiosk or eMitra wallet on the SSO portal.
- Print the completed form and the fee receipt, and track the application under Admission Status.
VMOU tells applicants not to wait for the last date. If a technical fault stops a form being submitted on the final day, the university does not accept a claim for admission.
Documents to keep ready
- Mark sheets and certificates of the qualifying examination
- Recent passport-size photograph and scanned signature
- Government photo identity proof
- Category or reservation certificate, where a fee concession or reserved seat is claimed
- Any transfer or migration certificate the prospectus asks for
