Along with the declaration of the Round 2 result, AIIMS has activated the online seat acceptance process. For Round 2 admissions, AIIMS made 512 seats available across 19 participating institutes nationwide, including primary campuses such as AIIMS New Delhi, AIIMS Rishikesh, AIIMS Bhopal, AIIMS Bhubaneswar, and AIIMS Jodhpur.

The seat allocation was determined using the choices submitted by candidates during the initial counselling registration, alongside merit criteria, overall ranks in the AIIMS entrance exam, and central government reservation guidelines. No fresh choice filling was permitted for this round.

Critical Guidelines for Seat Acceptance and Upgradation

Candidates who have been allocated a seat in this round must adhere strictly to the following procedures to confirm their admission:

• Mandatory Online Confirmation: All candidates must log into their individual “MyPage” portal at aiimsexams.ac.in using their Registration ID and Password. Candidates must explicitly select the option to accept the allotted seat. Failure to register online acceptance on the portal by 5:00 PM on August 29 will result in the immediate forfeiture of the seat.

• Automatic Cancellation of Round 1 Seats: For candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 1 and opted for an upgrade, accepting a newly allotted campus in Round 2 automatically cancels their previous seat. The vacated seat from Round 1 is immediately reassigned to other candidates based on merit.

• Financial Penalty Notice: As per standard AIIMS counselling regulations, candidates who fail to join their newly assigned institute after opting for and receiving an upgraded seat in Round 2 will incur a financial penalty of ₹1 Lakh along with forfeiture of the seat.

Candidates can check their individual allocation status by following these steps:

1. Visit the Official Web Portal: Open aiimsexams.ac.in on your browser.

2. Access Academic Courses: Select the Academic Courses tab located on the primary navigation menu.

3. Select B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing: Click on the B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing option listed under the undergraduate section.

4. Download Result List: Under the Important Announcements tab, select “Result of 2nd Round of Online Seat Allocation for B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing August 2026 Session”.

5. Locate Merit Details: Open the downloaded PDF and use Ctrl + F to search for your Roll Number or Registration ID to confirm your allocated campus and category.

Mandatory Documents Required During Physical Verification

Candidates who complete their online seat acceptance must report physically to the admissions office of their assigned AIIMS institute on or before August 29, 2026 (5:00 PM). They must bring the original copies of the following documents along with two self-attested photocopies:

What Follows Round 2?

Following the conclusion of document submission and reporting on August 29, AIIMS New Delhi will conduct a audit of all confirmed seats across every participating institute. If vacancies remain across any specific category or campus, the examination section will publish a detailed notification regarding an Open Round of Counselling.

Candidates are strongly advised to complete their seat acceptance and document reporting well before the deadline on August 29 to avoid technical glitches or network congestion on the official portal.
