ICSE, ISC Results 2026 Likely Tomorrow: CISCE Class 10, 12 Results Expected at results.cisce.org

The JEE Main 2026 General category cutoff has hit a record high of 93.41 percentile due to increased candidate participation. Over 2.5 lakh students have qualified for JEE Advanced, with registrations starting shortly

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is expected to announce the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) results for 2026 very soon. While a viral notice recently suggested a release on April 22, the board officially debunked that claim, clarifying that the evaluation is in its final stages.

Current reports and historical trends now point toward a release in the last week of April, with many expecting the link to go live as early as tomorrow.

Once declared, students can access their scores on the official portal: results.cisce.org.

CISCE Result Date 2026: Latest Updates

Every year, the anticipation surrounding the ICSE and ISC results builds a high-pressure environment for students and parents alike. This year is no different. Approximately 2.6 lakh students appeared for the ICSE exams, while around 1.5 lakh sat for the ISC papers.

The council has maintained that the results will be released in the “April-May” window. However, looking at the 2025 cycle where results were out by April 30, and the current status of the evaluation, an announcement within the next 24 to 48 hours is highly probable.

The board has also moved toward a more digital-first approach, ensuring that servers are bolstered to handle the massive surge of traffic expected the moment the link is activated. Internal sources suggest that the data uploading process for various regions is already underway, marking the final step before the “Result” tab appears on the homepage.

How to Check ICSE and ISC Results 2026?

When the result link is activated, the official servers often experience heavy traffic. To ensure a smooth experience, students should keep their Unique ID and Index Number ready—these can be found on the admit cards issued before the board exams began. It is vital to enter these details exactly as they appear to avoid “Record Not Found” errors.

Here is the detailed step-by-step process to check your scores:

  1. Visit Official Websites: Navigate to cisce.org or the dedicated portal results.cisce.org.

  2. Select the Course: Use the drop-down menu to choose between ‘ICSE’ for Class 10 or ‘ISC’ for Class 12.

  3. Enter Credentials: Carefully type in your 7-digit Unique ID, your Index Number, and the alphanumeric Captcha code displayed on the screen.

  4. View Results: Click on the ‘Show Result’ button. Your marksheet will be displayed, showing subject-wise marks and your pass/fail status.

  5. Download & Print: Save the document as a PDF. While this is an online transcript, it serves as a valid document for provisional admissions until the hard-copy marksheets are sent to schools.

Alternative Ways to Access Your Marks

If the website becomes unresponsive due to the sheer volume of users, CISCE provides multiple alternative methods to check the results to ensure no student is left waiting.

  • SMS Service: This is the fastest way to get your results without an internet connection. Simply open your messaging app, type ICSE <Seven Digit Unique ID> or ISC <Seven Digit Unique ID> and send it to the official number: 09248082883. You will receive a reply containing your name and marks in each subject.

  • DigiLocker: The board will also upload digital marksheets and passing certificates to DigiLocker. This is a government-backed platform where students can log in using their Aadhaar-linked mobile number. These documents are digitally signed and are legally equivalent to the original certificates for college applications.

  • UMANG App: For a mobile-friendly experience, the UMANG app allows students to view their results and download certificates directly to their smartphones.

What to Expect: Passing Marks and Trends

To clear the ICSE (Class 10) exams, students must score at least 33% in each subject. For ISC (Class 12), the passing criteria is slightly higher at 35% per subject. These marks include a combination of the external written examination and internal assessments/projects.

Year Result Date ICSE Pass % ISC Pass %
2025 April 30 99.09% 99.02%
2024 May 6 99.47% 98.19%
2023 May 14 98.94% 96.93%

Historically, CISCE results are known for high pass percentages. In recent years, girl students have consistently outperformed boys by a slight margin. Furthermore, the council has been focusing on “Competency-Focused Questions,” meaning students who understood concepts rather than just memorizing facts are expected to score exceptionally well this year.

Post-Result Formalities: Rechecking and Improvement

The journey doesn’t necessarily end with the result announcement. Students who feel their marks do not reflect their performance can apply for re-evaluation or re-checking. This process involves the board re-verifying the totaling of marks and ensuring no answer was left uncorrected.

This service typically opens for a 7-day window following the result announcement and carries a fee of ₹1,000 per subject.

Additionally, for those who unfortunately fail to meet the passing criteria or wish to improve their grades for competitive college cut-offs, CISCE offers Improvement Exams. These are usually held in July, allowing students to save their academic year by appearing for up to two subjects.
