The wait is finally over for nearly 16 lakh students in Madhya Pradesh. The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has officially declared the MP Board Class 10th and 12th results today, April 15, 2026.

The results were announced in a high-profile press conference held at the Samatva Bhawan by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav at 11:00 AM.

Following the official announcement, the result links have been activated on the board’s primary websites. However, due to a massive surge in trafficβ€”with lakhs of students and parents logging in simultaneouslyβ€”the official portals have been experiencing slow loading times.

Students are advised to stay patient and use alternative methods if the main site is unresponsive.

This year, Class 10 recorded a pass percentage of 73.42%, while Class 12 reached 76.01%. Girls have once again outperformed boys.

Those who failed in one or two subjects can register for the Supplementary Exams starting May 7, 2026. Original marksheets will be distributed by schools shortly.

Where to Check the MP Board Result 2026?

To ensure every student can access their scorecard without delay, the board has provided multiple official platforms. With the high volume of users, MPBSE has collaborated with various hosting partners to distribute the server load. If the main website is down, students are encouraged to try the following alternative links:

  1. mpresults.nic.in: The dedicated portal specifically optimized for fast result retrieval.

  2. mpbse.mponline.gov.in: The government’s service portal which often remains stable during peak traffic.

  3. mpbse.nic.in: The primary administrative website for the board.

  4. DigiLocker: A digital platform where students can access their verified marksheets using their Aadhaar details.

MPBSE Mobile App: Available on the Google Play Store, this app allows students to check results directly on their smartphones without a web browser.

Required Login Details to Check the Result

To view your marksheet, you do not need a password or an OTP. Instead, you must have your admit cardΒ handy, as the system requires specific identification numbers issued during the exam registration. The following credentials are mandatory to access the result portal:

  • 9-Digit Roll Number: This is the unique identification number assigned to you for the board examinations. Ensure there are no typos, as even one incorrect digit will result in a “Result Not Found” error.

  • 8-Digit Application Number: Often overlooked, this number is essential for security verification. You can find it on your registration form or in the top-right corner of your admit card.

Step-by-Step Guide to Download Marksheet

The process has been simplified this year to help students navigate the portals easily. If you are checking your result for the first time, follow these simple steps:

  • Step 1: Visit any of the official websites, such as mpresults.nic.in.

  • Step 2: Look for the notification section on the homepage. Click on the link titled “MPBSE – HSC (Class 10th).” Main Examination Results – 2026″ or “MPBSE – HSSC (Class 12th) Main Examination Results – 2026.”

  • Step 3: A new login window will appear. Carefully enter your roll number and application number in the provided fields.

  • Step 4: Double-check the numbers and click the ‘Submit’ or ‘Get Result’ button.

  • Step 5: Your digital marksheet will appear on the screen, showing subject-wise marks, grades, and your final result status (Pass/Fail/Distinction).

  • Step 6: Download the PDF and take a printout. This copy will serve as your provisional marksheet for future admissions.

Important Statistics and Toppers List

The 2026 results have set a new benchmark for academic excellence in the state. Along with individual scores, the MP Board released comprehensive statistics showing an upward trend in performance.

  • Overall Pass Percentage: Class 10 saw a pass percentage of 73.42%, while Class 12 recorded a slightly higher 76.01%.

  • Toppers Spotlight: Pratibha Singh Solanki from Panna has emerged as the state topper for Class 10, securing a staggering 499 out of 500. In Class 12, students from Bhopal and Indore dominated the merit list across Science, Commerce, and Arts streams.

  • Gender Performance: In a continuing trend, girl students have outperformed boys by a margin of nearly 5% in both classes.

What To Do If You Fail or Want to Improve?

For those who did not get the desired results, the MP Board offers multiple avenues to recover and improve. One or two failing grades do not mean the end of your academic year.

  • Supplementary Exams (Second Main Exam): Students who failed in up to two subjects can apply for the Supplementary Exams, which are scheduled to begin from May 7, 2026. Registration for these exams will begin tomorrow, April 16.

  • Re-evaluation & Re-totalling: If you believe there has been a calculation error, you can apply for “Re-totalling” within 15 days of the result declaration. You can also request a scanned copy of your answer sheet for a nominal fee to verify the marking.

  • SMS Facility: If you cannot access the internet, check your result by texting MPBSE10 [Roll Number] or MPBSE12 [Roll Number] to 56263
