How to Check CG Board 10th & 12th Result 2026 Online?

The online portal is the fastest way to access your marksheet. The board has optimized its servers this year to handle the sudden surge of lakhs of users. To check your result, follow these simple steps:

  • Visit the Official Portal: Head over to the official CGBSE website or the dedicated results portal.

  • Locate the Correct Link: On the homepage, separate links will be visible for “High School (10th) Exam Result 2026” and “Higher Secondary (12th) Exam Result 2026.”

  • Input Credentials: You will need to enter your Roll Number exactly as it appears on your admit card. You will also need to solve a simple mathematical captcha for security.

  • Submit and Save: After clicking “Submit,” your detailed marksheet will appear. It is highly recommended to download the PDF and take a printed copy, as this will serve as your provisional marksheet for college and school admissions until the original is issued.

Check Result via SMS and Offline Modes

In rural areas or places with poor internet connectivity, students don’t need to worry. CGBSE provides an offline SMS facility to ensure everyone gets their results on time.

  • For Class 10: Type CG10 <space> Roll Number and send it to 56263.

  • For Class 12: Type CG12 <space> Roll Number and send it to 56263.

Additionally, the DigiLocker app allows you to fetch your marksheet directly to your phone. Simply log in using your Aadhaar-linked mobile number, go to the education section, and select “Chhattisgarh Board” to pull your digital certificate.

What’s New This Year? Evaluation and Passing Criteria

The 2026 evaluation process was one of the fastest in the board’s history, with over 15,000 teachers working across various centers to grade the answer sheets. To pass the CGBSE exams, a student must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject.

Crucially, students must pass in both Theory and Practical/Internal Assessments separately. For example, in an 80-mark theory paper, you must score at least 26 marks, and in a 20-mark internal, you need at least 7 marks. For those who narrowly miss the mark in one or two subjects, the board will conduct Supplementary (Second Main) Exams in July 2026, giving them a second chance to save their academic year without delay.

Topper List and Performance Trends

The CGBSE press conference will also unveil the state’s merit list. Last year, the board saw an impressive performance with Ishika Bala and Naman Kumar Khuntia sharing the top spot in Class 10 with 99.17%. In Class 12, Akhil Sen led the state with 98.20%.

Historically, districts like Balod and Surguja have emerged as top performers, while the Swami Atmanand Government Schools (English and Hindi Medium) have seen a massive spike in high-scoring students. Educators are also watching the gender-gap trends; in 2025, girls outperformed boys in Class 12 by over 6%, and similar results are expected this year.
