The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) officially declared the Karnataka SSLC (Class 10) Result 2026 today, April 23, 2026.

The results were first announced in a formal press conference held at the board’s headquarters in Bengaluru, where officials shared the performance statistics and the list of high achievers.

Immediately following the press meet at 12:00 PM, the digital scorecards were made live on the official portal: karresults.nic.in.

How to Check Karnataka SSLC Result 2026 Online?

If you are a student or a parent looking to access the marksheet, follow these simple steps to avoid any confusion:

  1. Visit the Official Site: Go to the official results page at karresults.nic.in.

  2. Locate the Link: Click on the link titled “SSLC Examination-1 Results 2026”.

  3. Enter Credentials: You will need to provide your Registration Number and Date of Birth (as mentioned on your hall ticket).

  4. Submit and View: Click the ‘Submit’ button. Your digital marksheet will appear on the screen.

  5. Save/Print: Download the PDF or take a screenshot for immediate reference. Note that this is a provisional marksheet; original certificates will be issued through schools later.

Performance Highlights and Statistics

This year has seen a remarkable improvement in the state’s academic performance. The overall pass percentage stands at a staggering 94.1%, a significant jump compared to previous years.

  • Overall Pass Percentage: 94.10%

  • Gender-wise Performance: Girls have once again outperformed boys. The pass percentage for girls is 96.18%, while for boys, it is 91.94%.

  • Top Performing District: Dakshina Kannada has secured the first rank in the state with a pass rate of 98.40%.

  • High Scorers: More than 50,000 students have scored above 95% this year.

Performance by School Type

Private schools continue to show high success rates, ranging between 93% and 95%. However, government schools have shown the most dramatic recovery, with their pass percentage climbing to the 85-88% range thanks to specialized revision programs.

If the official website is slow due to heavy traffic, students can use these alternative methods:

1. SMS Service

You can get your result delivered straight to your phone.

  • Type: KAR10 [Registration Number]

  • Send it to 56263.

  • You will receive your subject-wise marks shortly via text message.

2. DigiLocker

The KSEAB has integrated with DigiLocker to provide authenticated digital certificates.

  • Log in to the DigiLocker app using your Aadhaar or mobile number.

  • Search for “KSEAB” under the Education category.

  • Enter your roll number and the year (2026) to fetch your marksheet.

What’s Next?

Students who have passed can now apply for admission to Pre-University Courses (PUC) or diploma programs.

For those who did not manage to clear the exams on this attempt, do not lose heart. The KSEAB will conduct SSLC Exam-2 (Supplementary) in the coming months, allowing students to clear their papers and continue their education without losing an academic year.

Applications for Re-evaluation and Re-totalling will also open next week on the official board website for students who are not satisfied with their awarded marks.
